Dr. Hoda Beltagui is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate working between Mannok and Queen’s University Belfast. She previously graduated with an MEng in Structural and Architectural Engineering, and went on to complete a PhD in Engineering, which focused on the durability of cement and concrete materials in various environments. During her PhD, she developed an in-depth understanding and knowledge of cement chemistry, concrete properties, and materials characterisation.

Since starting with the company, Hoda has been involved in a number of research and development projects, including: finding suitable applications for various waste material streams, identifying and assessing the suitability of new and alternate materials for various processes, and the set up and development of new test methods within the labs. She is also involved the dissemination of research results through conference papers and presentations.
