The Irish News WEA are recognised as one of Ireland’s premier business awards, and winners are acknowledged as “the brightest and best in their fields”, according to Irish News editor, Niall Doran.

Quinn’s success in the awards is thanks to the many initiatives within the company to recognise and improve talent and skills, develop new products and processes, and continually advance their technology. Speaking of the award, Quinn’s Human Resources Manager, Caroline McCaffrey said,

“Winning this award is testament to the vast range of initiatives we have undertaken to ensure we build a sustainable company and a talented workforce, which is positioned for growth and resilient to respond to any challenges we may face. We are committed to providing a stable working environment, filled with opportunities and long-term career paths, and we’re delighted that the work we’ve done, and continue to do, to achieve this has been recognised by the judging panel as best in class.

The awards consider the entire organisation, from recruitment of people, products, systems and processes to strategy, so every area of the business must be aligned and must be future proofed to achieve this success. The numerous product developments, educational partnerships and career progression programmes we’ve been building have been instrumental in achieving this award, and these are all areas we’re continuing to grow and develop.”

The achievement comes on the back of more success for the company in the Business in the Community Responsible Business Awards, in which Quinn’s partnership with St. Michael’s College achieved Highly Commended in the Education category. The partnership also saw the company shortlisted in the Career Inspiration Category in the Irish News WEA, further acknowledging the calibre and success of the initiative.
